I feed mine 'The Priscilla Price Diet'. This can be found by going to www.thepetglider.com and clicking on 'Nutrition System'. I freeze that in ice cube trays. Each cage gets 1 cube of the diet, 1 tablespoon of fruits, 1 tablespoon of veggies, 1 tablespoon of calcium (yogurt, cream cheese, etc...) plenty of mealworms and extra sources of protein (scrambled or boiled egg, peanut butter, etc...). They get fresh water changed every night, both in a bottle and a bowl. Let me know how feeding time goes.

Cavaliers,
Congratulations on the new additions to your family. Have you decided upon names for these precious little girls? I would love to see pictures when you get the opportunity to post a few. Are you going to be feeding the diet which I suggested? They NEED to be on a proven diet, and in my opinion, Priscilla's is the best of the best to be feeding. Let me know how everything works out, and if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

Lauren

Cavaliers,
The only three proven diets I recommend are: Priscilla Price Diet, BML & HPW. Let me know what you decide to name them, I'm glad you decided to switch diets. Could you tell me in detail what you feed to them? Be honest, we aren't trying to lecture you, we are trying to help you give your new gliders the best possible home.
Thanks.

Lauren

Cavaliers,

With all glider diets you need to be aware of the amount of Calcium they eat in relation to the amount of Phosphorus. They need about twice as much calcium as phosphorus or a 2:1 Ca:P ratio.

If you want to read more about diets in general there are links on the web page in my signature for the recognized diets. Which ever diet you choose - follow the recipe and feeding instructions for that diet. The diets are designed to provide gliders with the right amount of calcium in relation to the phosphorus in the diet. There should be a 2:1 Ca to P ratio or roughly twice the amount of Calcium as there is Phosphorus.

My web page in the signature has my calculator for figuring the Ca:P ratio for the diet you choose and the fruits and vegetables you feed with it.

Good luck with your new glider
