The original HPW Diet has been used for many years raising happy healthy gliders. When feeding this diet it is recommended that you feed high calcium fruits and vegetables frequently (Papaya, BlackBerries, raspberries, Figs, pineapple, Bok Choi, dark leafy greens, cabbage, celery, okra, parsley and butternut squash are all examples of calcium rich foods.) Feed high phosphorus foods like corn and peas in moderation. Feeding a wide variety of fruits and vegetables is recommended with this diet.

Recipe:

2 cups warm water
1-1/2 cup honey
3 scrambled or hard boiled eggs
1/4c High Protein Wombaroo Powder (if you have a breeding pair or nursing female increase the amount of HPW powder to 1/2cup)
1 tablespoon bee pollen

Cook Eggs, set aside.

In large bowl mix water and honey. Stir until honey is dissolved.
Add in HPW powder, mix well.

In blender add in eggs, bee pollen and 1/2 to 1 cup HPW liquid. Blend for two minutes.
Add in additional liquid and blend for another two minutes.

Pour into a freezer safe bowl with an airtight lid. Keep in freezer. Will freeze to consistancy of ice cream. HPW can also be frozen in ice cube trays. Measure your tray to determine if your cubes will hold 1 or 2 tablespoons.

Per Glider Feeding instructions.

1 TABLEspoon of HPW per glider (original per glider amount was 1/2 TBS but most owners now feed 1 TBS)
