Hi, I'm Lauren for those of you who do not know me. I have been owned by Sugar Gliders for nearly three years now and bred for two of those long, wonderful years. I am now a retired breeder but a Glider mom to seven lovely suggies.

Anyhow, in December of 2008 I had sold a Sugar Glider joey to a young couple living in Tennessee. The lady's name was Kesha, I do not recall her husband's name. I never was into shipping Sugar Gliders, so, they happened to be visiting family in my area and picked up the Glider, Ozzy (now called Egypt) on their way back up North. At the time, I had no Glider to pair Ozzy up with. So, my friend, also a retired breeder gave me (for free) a little girl now called Asia, and these two Gliders went off to their new home in Tennessee.

Everything seemed fine, she sent me weekly updates. However, a month or so after they left, I just had the feeling that she had lost interest. Another story of someone who bought because of looks when in reality she wasn't aware of the commitment she was getting into. She decided to hang on to them for a while. Well, fairly recently Kesha had a son. He now took up all her time and money. She couldn't care for little Egypt & Asia anymore.

Yesterday, my friend Emily calls me giving me a link to a classifieds webpage. I thought it might be an AD for some adorable Mosaic or Leucistic Glider that was being given away, since I've been keeping an eye and ear open. Not really into purchasing more Gliders right now. Anyway,  I logged on to the link and was shocked to see the pictures and description this lady named Kesha in Tennessee had posted. These were my babies. Before I sell a joey to anyone I require that they sign a contract clearly stating that if for whatever reason they could no longer keep the Gliders they be returned to me for a maximum of the same price in which I sold them. She didn't mention a word in her "updates" about them being for sale.

Well, I contacted her and she confirmed that. She stated that she has a bad memory and forgot about my policy. She was polite about it and explained her money situation. Well, these both girls were sold to her for $75. She told me I could have the two girls back for $150. No way. We spoke on the phone and decided they were mine for $75. Perfect. I sold Egypt's younger sister, Chloe yesterday. Well, Valerie (Chloe's new mom), who lives in Miami, wanted to purchase Chloe a friend. So, I thought, great! She can take Egypt & Asia who are around eight months now. All the parties agreed. Only one problem.

Kesha lives in Tennessee and will be down visiting family in Florida on June 12th. She will be in Cocoa Beach, Titusville & Tampa. All of which are 3-4 hours from Boca Raton (where I live) and 4-5 hours from Miami (where Valerie lives). If you, or anybody you know will be down through the Cocoa Beach, Titusville or Tampa area on June 12th or around that time, please contact me. I really need to get these girls down to Boca Raton from any of those three locations. If you need more information, please contact me. =) I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
~Lauren.
