Sugar Glider Central

I have 2 very sweet glider girls. I also have 2 children that want to bond with the girls. I have been using a bond pouch and a tent and things have been going great. The girls had a blast last night in the tent with me, even climbed all over my oldest son. I have already been accepted by my gliders which Im totally excited about. My question is how do I get the girls bonded with my children? Do they carry the bonding pouch? Since Im already accepted, will my other family members be accepted automatically or do they need to carry the pouch and have tent time with the girls too? Sorry if this is a stupid thing to ask, I just want to make sure Im doing this right. Since they climbed on one son, does that mean he has been accepted too?

good question! they should be accepted by you gliders as part of the"colony" especially if they smell like you. gliders go a lot by smell.

Thank you once again! lol my oldest son is so excited about having them climb on him. he keeps asking me for tent time all the time, I have noticed the girls havent been crabbing at me half as much as they use to. i know it takes time and evey glider is different, just seems like they are getting use to me pretty quick.

Cora, i just have to share with you. Last night we had our tent time, the girls are all over my oldest son and my daughter got in with me and they started climbing all over her too. She was so excited. My youngest son hasnt gotten in yet but I have no doubt that he will be accepted too. The girls get to meet "daddy" tomorrow, he has been away working. He is ready to meet them too. Oh and I have been putting their frozen diet like you said u do and by morning its all gone. Thank you again and again. Now just wondering when the joeys will come out to join us. I dont see the lumps anymore but she is all together "fluffy".

more great time in the tent!!! miah was checking out my face last night, nipped at the corner of my eye, maybe a love nip lol. touched her nose to mine, too sweet. leena is still alittle shy, thou she does climb all over us. great bonding with the girls, loving every minute of them

I have a young trio, 2 girls and 1 boy, they are so much fun in the tent!!! My older gliders play a little and lounge a lot!!!

yeah so glad i found out about tent time. i ended up getting a bigger tent. lol the girls finally got to meet daddy. first time he was in tent, they were all over him. it was so funny cuz every time they would get on his back, he would giggle, like a little girl, it made all of us laughn. he said it tickled him. Leena is still a little shy but all in all i think she is doing well with us. i know each glider is different and it may just take her a little longer. during the day, she doesnt want to be bothered, not even for a treat. lol Miah on the other hand, will take a treat anytime. lol of course she is the one im pretty sure is pregnant. anyhow just wanted to share alittle
