Polls are a great way to see the general consensus on a topic, but the topic of the forum (cage size) doesn't match the poll topic (time gliders wake.)  It would be easier for members if the 2 matched.

As for my glider cage, I have a larger cage that's 3 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet that lives in.  I use a 2 foot by 1 foot by 1 foot cage for travel.  I'm also in the process of acquiring a 6 foot by 3 foot by 3 foot cage for him and his 'girlfriend,' once I get him neutered.  The more space and height to glide and play, the better!

hi i dont hav my glider yet but i was wondering if an emty closet would be alright for one if i had a box with pine shavings on the bottom and a bunch of ropes and branches and stuff all around the inside of the closet.im asking becouse i dont now if it chews the paint off the wall will he get sick or it's too much space for him or what

please dont use any type of shavings. and get branches that are nontoxic for them. If your glider is a chewer( which you probably have no real way of knowing yet) it will probably chew the paint off the wall, which could kill it. It can also chew straight through the drywall and get into the wall and die. I would not sy the closet would be a good placement. When you opened the doors it would run away. There is no such thing as too much space for gliders. the bigger the better, but i really would suggest a cage.
