I'm going to get a sugar glider as soon as I find a good breeder in my area, but I want to make sure that I have a list of things I need in a cage for two sugar gliders.
I know it'll need a....
exercise wheel
I have a cage set-up that I want to buy on e-bay that has...
One Square Hammock
One Cage bag
Two Fleece Vines
One Tunnel
Two corner Shelves
One Climbing Rope
Two Fleece Blankets,
some toys,
and I was going to use newspaper for bedding.

And the cage I'll be getting is 30"x18"x59".

Is there anything else I need?

I would have at least 2 pouches so that you can have the suggies in one and be washing the other.

To save money, I generally make all my cage accessories. I've used this page to make just about everything my gliders have.  I go cheap on the toys too. I saw a pic online this evening of someone that had a couple plastic clothes hangers in their cages. I put one of my own hangers in my suggies cage tonight and it is the new favorite toy! Sometimes the simpler toys are the best... like little kids with a big refrigerator box. haha. Mine also love the little cat balls with bells inside.

Be sure you've got a water bottle and a food dish which they can't climb in.

I would recommend going through a rescue organization if you can find one near you. There are so many homeless gliders out there looking for forever homes.
