I keep my sugar glider cage in my room. I went into my room today to get my sugar glider to bond with her. To my surprise, I looked down into the bottom of her cage and discovered that it was crawling with ants!!!! What can I do to get rid of these nasty creatures without hurting my suggies?
All help appreciated!!!

Here's a small piece of advice, why not take your Sugar Gliders out and then THOROUGHLY clean out the entire cage using water or unscented baby wipes to wipe everything down? I don't suggest using any type of insect killer as it may damage your Sugar Gliders' health as well. You must be very careful when dealing with situations such as this. Are they red ants or black ants? That's important to know whether or not they could be biting your Sugar Gliders as well. If they are red, please remove the Gliders and clean the cage immediately. It's not fair to leave them in there with an ant infestation, do the Gliders eat them?

Thanks.
