I need some info me and my wife have been taking care of our sg for about a year when a lady found us by way of a few freinds and asked us to addopt her sgs. when we got them about 1 1/2 years ago they were really hard to handle untame and one had a case of h.l.p. and we have worked with them now you can handle them. but the problem is last night before we went to bed the one who has had a lot of problems hasn't been moving around and this morning when we go up she is just laying in here cage even when you handle her she hardly responds. I would take her to the vet but I know more about gliders than any of the vets around here so any info please write.

what r u guys feeding her?

i need more information.
cage size...how much do you try to play with them...
any symptoms like diareah?
does she drag her hind legs?

if youre not feeding BML yet...
start ASAP.
many argue that theres many other mixture that is better,
but BML is agood place to start.

The Basic BML Mixture

1/2 Cup honey ( cooked )
1 egg (boiled or scrambled)
1/4 Cup apple juice

Blend well, turn off blender, and add this...

1 4 oz bottle Gerber juice with yogurt (mixed fruit or banana)
1 Tsp. Rep-Cal HERPTIVITE

Blend well, turn off blender, and add this...

2 Tsp. Rep-Cal Calcium Supplement (non-phosphorus with Vit. D3)
2 21/2 oz jar chicken baby food (stage one or two - Heinz, Gerber or Beechnut)
1/4 C. wheat germ
1/2 C. dry baby cereal (Heinz or Gerber -- mixed or oatmeal)

Is the one not moving slot thr one with hlp????
if so I have a really good friend on glidder gossip on sugar glider dot com with a rescue with hlp and she has improved trmendously...I know they have the answers their name ehandlr on the forum, I like this place and the glider gossip, both places are really helpul check ehandlr out on there just post to him on the topic...he knows soooo much about sugar gliders more than anyone i hahve ever talked to!!!
I know he can help you....just think positive!!!
