I have a glider that was neutered on July 20th. He still has his bald spot. I thought they went away. Is this normal or did my vet screw up??? Should he still be trying to mark the female?

Thanks in advance.

If they are are neutered young their bald spot usually goes away over a few months but if they are older when neutered it takes time, I have 1 that was 4 when he was neutered over a year ago and he still has a bald spot, not as big of a spot but still there. All my neutered males still mark and still try to breed! If the neuter was pom on the pom should just be be empty and sagging from his lowere belly area. If the neuter was pom off then there should be no pom there!

my first glider I bought in a pair with my friends glider already neutered. We were told they were both about the same age, yet his never lost his spot. mine did after a few months. My current gliders I had them neutered when I first got them which i was told was about 3-4 months and they never had spots.
