I've never seen a link mention that gliders don't always crab from fear.  Very long, loud crabbing, yes, but there are shorter bursts of fussing that simply seem to indicate annoyance.  I only get these from one of my gliders, and it happens when I disturb him while he's sleepy.  He's not ready to wake up and gets upset I'm bothering him, but I highly doubt he's scared since he never does this when he's fully awake.

Has anyone else experienced this or is it just Xor?

that is correct they crab to say leave me alone!!!

lol,  One of my girls does that too! She is a Miss Prissy Pants I sware. Love her all the same tho.

No. I would check to see that they are not sick. Check out Suz's Glider Page.
They can crab if they are sick or something else is wrong.

 Jenny for being pouch protective when sleeping you would take your glider to the vet??  Wow bet your vet loves you!!   I would be making a bunch of trips!!!      Anywho reread what the poster wrote, I know I have 3 times since you posted just to make sure I understood it right.  :)
