Hi everyone, we recently purchased our first gliders on Craigslist (we know it's not the best place, but they needed a home) The male is a year old and the female is 2 1/2. We've tried wiping them with wet towels but it hasn't been effective. Is this because they're adults? And is there another way to attempt potty training?
Is the result you are seeking that when you wipe the butt, they poo? I have seen people discuss this in the past but have never subscribed to it. I dont even really believe it. At the least, it will take a LOT of effort to get the animal to do this. I wouldnt bother myself. I have never seen a potty-trained sugar glider. What I have seen at all of the gathering events is people with pee spots and poo falling all over the place. heh.
