I just moved to Atlanta, GA from Florida and am unable to continue taking care of my babies. I have two sisters approximataely 3 years old, each has a joey that is now around 4 months old, and a boy around 1 years old. I would prefer that all go to the same home, but am willing to break them up as long as they still go in pairs (both mommas, both babies, then the boy by himself if you already have a playmate for him).

I am selling both sisters for $200, the little boy for $100, and both babies for $250. If you would like the whole lot of them, I will sell the cage and all goodies along with them for $700. That includes cage, travel cage, toys, branches, ropes, logs, food, vitamins, etc., plus all five gliders.

If you will not be buying all of them, but would still like to get the cage or some accessories, I might be able to negotiate. I could not sell the cage unless they are the last gliders left obviously, but if you are willing to wait until I find new homes for the others, then we can talk about prices.

My babies are amazing, I just can not take care of them anymore in my new home. They are very friendly, tame, and lots of fun! I've had all since they were babies so they might have a difficult time relocating, but just be patient and I am sure they will become just as friendly with you! If you would like pictures, just reply to this thread and I will post.

Also, I will not ship my gliders, I am willing to meet halfway if the distance is not too far, but I would prefer not to sell to someone too far away. Since I am in Georgia, I would probably limit myself to Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida.

Please let me know if you would be interested! I hate to have to give my babies up, but am happy to know they will be finding a home with new mommies and daddies that can take better care of them.

Please get these gliders out of Georgia - they are illegal there and if you are "found out" and they are confiscated, then they will be euthanized.

Sounds like you love your babies, so please rehome them to a legal state.

Gliders are now legal in GA.  The law was just recently passed.

Can you provide a link to that passed Law? We've been waiting to hear that for years.

This link only says that the Senate passed the bill, not that it had been ratified.
Do you have a link providing that information?

They are legal now. We have talked to the Department of Agriculture and a state vet who both said they are legal. If you are buying one though it does have to be from a USDA breeder. This is one of the big rules. I think you would have to show that proof if the vet or someone asked.jkaradeema2008-07-17 20:34:45

Oops! I hope no one gets in trouble for this! I was never aware they were illegal in GA... I probably should have checked that out. But, being the young naive person I am, I just assumed everyone would love gliders no matter where I go haha! I was just relocated from Florida last month and my new job schedule does not enable me to provide the attention they deserve from me so I wanted to find them new homes that would have a more conducive environment to the gliders needs.

If they are still illegal I will be sure to find them new homes in another area asap so they aren't taken away. But, if they are legal now, then hopefully someone here will be able to adopt and christen the critters to this state! I will do some research on whether everything has passed and what the procedure is to adopt before making any decisions.

Thank you for the information!
