I am getting a suggie in about a week. The problem is I don't know how to set up the cage. I have heard that they like it a certain way, and I don't know what that way is. How many toys should I have? Do they like more than one bed? Should I put something at the bottom of the cage for it to play with? Where should the bed be, up high or down low? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
depending on how big the cage is is depending on how many toys you should have. If you are getting just one glider try to have just one bed that way you can find the glider if need be. Put the bed up high. My gliders love the higher bed the better. also you can put some toys on the bottom just in case the decide to play at the bottom. If it is a large cage put a few perches in different areas and different heights. Then if you notice things need to be changed change them as you go. Need anymore help just ask.
Because I can only afford one right now but I am going to try to get another as soon as possible if my mom allows me too. I should not be long till we get our sugar glider so I am really excited.
As long as you have time for the one then things will be okay...I had one glider for over a year by himself and he did fine but when i got a job I had to get another. It'll work out. Good luck. Let us know how things go.
