yeah that was weird. bc i saw that it said sugar-gliders and i know that site well, so i got confused when it brought me back to this forum! yes ive seen that cage and many people have it and love it. They say you cant go wrong with it. however its only 3ft tall, and i think you can find something taller for that a little more money.
Well, I don't want anythign TOO big. I will get a larger cage in the future, probably the hexagonal cage, but for now I want a "smaller" cage.
Is the cage big enough for 2 gliders? I have no intention of getting any more then 2. I might, but not til I have a house. Once I have a house, I can upgrade to a larger cage. Right now though, I live in an apartment, so I need to try and make due with the space I have.Ya know?
yeah i completly know what you mean about space. i live in an apartment too. In the future i do want the hex cage too. but for now i think i am going to buy the http://item.express.ebay.com/Tapered-n- ... xpressItem because Exterior Dimensions: Width 23.5" Depth 23.5" Height 75"
its just a little deeper and and little more wide, but its much taller, which is space i dont have to worry about, i figure my cage can go to the celling as long as it isnt more then 3ft wide and deep . But i do like the cage you were looking at too.
I would not mind getting a taller cage, but I want it to have a flat top. I don't know why, but I prefer then. I figure, if I have to look at the thing eveery single day, it might as well look nice to me, lol.
I am also going to make a cover for the cage and that's much easier to do when the top is flat.
Don't worry, once I get a house I will probably build them their own huge cage! Ok, well, I'll make hubby do it, lol.
I'm also going to build(hubby will) my ferrets a large outdoor enclosure so they can be fed raw food and it won't create a mess, ew! I don't mind feeding them mice and chicks, but I just don't want to have to scrub the blood off my floor when they're done, lol.
yeah i am the same way. I am so excited at the end of june one of my roomates moves out the their room is to become the glider room When we get our house they will most definatly still have their own room, but i'll have my bf build the cage too! any ideas on things to sew for their room? i love new ideas. even if they are ideas for ferrets they may work for gliders.
