I can see him breathing but he is curled up in fetus position and will not move, i resently posted on here about his bald spot on his head that was continously receading, he was w/ my female but since he had the bald spot i moved him away from her, just a couple days ago he was acting enraged, couldnt feed him, put my hand on the cage or nothing, now i cant get a response. does any one know what this could be? please help
yes, he seems to be doing ok now. apparently my lovely daughter wasnt feeding him. i took him out and fed him some sun flower seeds and a meal worm and dipped his nose in the water dish. he is doing good now. thanks for asking.
Oh my! The poor little thing! What diet are you feeding him? Sun flower seeds are not an ideal as part of a diet, a sugar glider digestive tract isn't equipped well enough to extract any kind of nutrition from a seed diet. Try getting some fresh fruits and veg into him, along with a good protein source like boiled egg, multivitamins and calcium supplement.
I made a care sheet for our joeys new homes. If you would like I will be happy to send you a copy. It includes staple glider foods, vitamins and fresh foods. Just give me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.
