Okay, just saw one of the babies. It was a male and when i saw him he was in the pouch frozen. I warmed him up and put him back in the pouch, mom and dad did not want anything to do with him. While i was looking at him he had what looked like a bite on his nose. Is that normal? If not what does it mean? I have the incubator and milk and everything ready. I tried to give him some milk tonight since they wanted nothing to do with him. After feeding him a little of the milk (5-6 drops) I put him back in pouch with mother. She put him under her and wouldn't let me near pouch. Is this a good thing or bad thing? I need help. I know nothing about how to take care of the babies (first time). I have info on it but its all contradicting. Is there a website that tells what the babies look like at certain ages (not sure how old either, though they are pretty big and have problems staying in pouch, there is 2). Thank You for any help you can give me.

The male is dead. The other baby is still moving around in the pouch. Have yet to see that one's face. She had 2 her first litter and they both passed away. And now this litter of 2 she is down to one.

Still wondering, should i pull the other baby just in case? I have everything ready but was stupid and listened to my mother to put the little boy back in with mommy and daddy.

Sorry to hear that. I have that happen to my first litter also. Though with no signs at all the first one was cannibalized. I woke up in the morning and found the second tossed out of pouch. We tried everything to keep him alive but it was too late. Sounds like you should get your male neutered. There are many reasons they do this. Diet, too many strangers around, noise, temp. etc. I would look into it.
