Hi!
I
had my suggies (2 females) for about a year now and they are very nice.
The mother was bought in a store and was at first very scared and did
not trust us. But she adapted very quickly and became very friendly.
Then we found out she was pregnant and one little joey came out of the
pouch a cuple of weeks later. Mom was very sweet and alowed me to take
the joey away for a cuple of minutes every day. The baby grew up
quickly and now she is big as her mother. Both are nice and don't bite.
I can pet them and I can pick them up. They will run on my hands - from
one to another and then on my head... and so on.
But they stay on for a cuple of second, minutes and then glide of of
me. I don't have a bonding pouch, because they sleep inside a nesting
box wich they really like... The main reson that I don't have a pouch
is because they always get cought in fabric materials with their sharp
nails...
The girls are still very nice but I got the feeling
that they are a bit more scared lately and I would like to bond some
more with them, to make them feel secure and calm with me. What are
your advices, how should I bond with them? What kind of bonding pouches
do you have (shape, sizes)? I do have one bag for them that was made by
hand (I got it from a friend), but I think it's not big enough for two
gliders and it's kind of funny - http://pilotgirl.moj-album.com/slike/13 ... f_pbXkDr... Could you show me some pictures of your pouches?
Thanks!
