It's kind of up to you. It's not really a diet item, but more of an enrichment/play item. I would recommend storing it in the freezer, to make it last longer. We usually keep branches or twigs in the cages at all times, for our gliders to climb and chew on. They're good for their teeth. With the leaves, when we want to offer some to our gliders, we will pull some out of the freezer & tap & drag it on the outside of their cages or use it to interact with them during tent time. Our gliders go nuts trying to attack the leaves & play with them. Then, when we're done playing, we will either stick the leaves on top of their cage (so they can pull them through) or put them inside the cage. The gliders also enjoy chewing on the leaves & carrying them all over the cage. Sometimes we'll find some in their pouch or glider kitchen.
Thank you so much I had look for inormation on it everywhere! I Had hoped not to spend $50 a month on just that among all of the other things lol, Thank you again
