I woke up very early this morning to severe crabbing and fighting coming from the Gliders. My Gliders rarely ever fight, just a little crab here and there when they step on one another! This scared me to death, I immediately jumped up and...
The sweetest of my Gliders, Bindi, who would never harm a fly, had gotten out of her cage and INTO the neighboring cage. Now, these Gliders are separated for a good, valid reason. Bindi had the youngest daughter, Sugar's entire foot in her mouth and wouldn't let go, I didn't care about being bitten, I pulled Bindi off her, gently, so as not to FURTHER harm her. Her leg does not look severed in any way, but she is holding it up, it's one of her back legs and when she walked across the perch, there was blood, not much, just a bit, but still blood. Obviously, it's now around two in the morning, my veterinarian is not available. I took Sugar in my arms and applied pressure to the wound, to stop the bleeding. She seems fine now, just limping, I called the veterinarian to get her in, but they said that they cannot until Monday. I am searching for another veterinarian in our area, but the usual one I go to is the only one I'm TRULY satisfied with (I've been to many)...
What should I do? It's so scary! I hope she is alright! :'(
