Hello,
I have owned a Sugar Glider in the past and unfortunately
after eight years he passed away. He was great very bonded to me- that
was about three years ago.
My friend works at a pet store who
has had this breeding pair for about two years. The mother has eaten
two sets of litters and they called a sugar glider breeder
and said wait until the next litter to see if she does it again. Well
she had her third litter and yesterday ate one joey- I went in there
today ( I used to work there for years and know the owner) to take the other joey out and she already started to eat her
face (on either side of her nose- looks like it a rub not to deep.) I
have her at home and followed Suzs website on the formula and how to
make an incubator. She has one eye open and has eaten twice for me
since I picked her up 1ML of formula-four hour span in between. My
exotic vet will not be in until monday so I have an appt then. Please
any tips you can give I will be greatly appreciative.
I have had her for a day and a half
I am feeding her every 3-4 hours and she is sporadic on how much she will eat. Her last feeding at 7:30pm she ate 1ml this has been the best feeding yet. I stimulate her every time- and she has gone to the bathroom
I have gotten great responses from people but any help and incite would really be appreciated. It is breaking my heart that she is not doing to well.
PLEASE HELP- thanks in advance.
