I believe that Contintental is the only airline that flys Sugar Gliders. I called and talked to the (incredibly rude) man at the pet desk who informed me that the only possible flight to PDX leaves at 6pm and is an 8 hour flight. I informed him that this was not possible and in turn he said I was being "difficult" and that he flys sugar gliders all the time and that he has never heard anything about adhering to a sleeping schedule.
Am I being difficult? Can sugar gliders safely be shipped while they are awake?
I love my babies and do not want to leave them behind, but I also don't want the travel to be dangerous or incredibly stressful for them.
Does anyone have any advice or an alternative way to relocate them? Any help is greatly appreciated.
