On instinct, I picked him up and cradled him. He looked up at me in my arms with huge, scared eyes. He was shaking and his heart was beating like crazy. (I was probably an exact mirror of him at the moment). The first thing I could think of doing is to check if there were any obvious broken bones. Though I'm not an exotic animal vet, I think if a rib or arm was broken, it would be pretty obvious if it were. I put him down on a desk and started to stroke his underside. (This makes him relax and stay still. He loves to fall asleep when I do this.) I looked and felt around and didn't notice anything that I could catch.
Even so, I am still worried because I am obviously not a certified vet. I want to take him over to get checked, but I have a couple reasons why I can't.
1. I can't seem to find an exotic vet where I live.
2. My mom won't take me to go find a vet because she says that he's alright.
I disagree with my mom because even now he still has that scared look in his eyes and he shakes a lot as well.
Please help Leu. I love him so much, and I don't want anything to be wrong. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to your advise.
