Actually, not having enough protien will make animals agressive. In the pet store where I work, the mice will sometimes eat each other if they get too crowded. We give them kitten kibble which is very high in protien and it keeps them from killing each other.
On that note, NEVER give your glider cat food! They add fiber or cornmeal to catfood so cats don't get hairballs. Gliders chew on and spit out the most fiberous parts of their fruits and veggies. Adding fiber to a kibble means they can't mush out the good juices and spit out the bad stuff. It can stop them up and cause kidney problems as well. Plus, hard kibbles can cut the insides of their mouth.
