I have heard mixed reviews about it, though none suggested they were harmful, so we tried it. I got one for my girl Carmella when we first got her and she really likes it! The slits in it aren't big enough for her to get caught in or for her to get caught in the carpet through. She prefers to be loose in our glider-proofed room, but the ball allows her even more out of cage time after that! She likes to run so fast that she loses conrol and spins around - it's pretty funny to watch! They say you should give your suggie at least an hour out of cage time a day and I wouldn't really count time in the ball towards that as they don't really interact with you too much you know? Hopefully that helps!

I thought about using one and thought it might not be safe but it would be safer because they wouldnt get into house hold items or get caught anywhere. I might try using one.

careful with the balls, I had a glider get his tongue stuck in the slits of one and he ended up SMing his tongue. I don't use balls now for that reason. Just be careful and use your best judgement!
i would get the large one. i know they have an ex-large one but i dont think that is needed. just as long as his tail has room and doesnt have to curl up over his back. Also get one with small slits.
I never thought of a tongue getting caught. thanks for the warning. I dont use my ball anymore because its packed somewhere but if i ever do i will really watch out for that.
My glider loves his, but I keep a close eye on him. My boyfriend's glider gets completely freaked out when he first showed her the ball, and hated being in it. It depends on the glider, and make sure to still keep on eye on them, in case they decide to lick something, or if a toe gets stuck. It's not as good as tent time or play time or anything, but better than nothing.
